ST. FRANCIS MEDICAL CENTER WATERPROOFING REMEDIATION, HONOLULU, HI

Under a design build partnership with Swinerton Contractors and in collaboration with BEST waterproofing, CHB Architects was the architect of record to design flood and waterproofing remediation solutions for the Lower Level entrance and Third Level Lanai of the Mother Marianne Building D. 

To eliminate the risk of future flooding new trench and catch basin drains were installed along with re sloping the existing lower level concrete patio. Third floor design solutions included new overflow drains, raising of existing lanai architectural pavers, modifying existing waterproofing membranes to eliminate waterflow obstructions to existing concealed lanai roof drains.
